Otters sleep holding hands

The sea otters regularly float in groups known as rafts not only when they sleep but also while eating and resting. A raft can range from two to several hundreds! As they go about rafting, they all hold hands so as to stay together in their group. The sea otters also utilize sea plants that grow from the ocean bed which they use to wrap themselves in, so as to avoid drifting away.
