That’s the name that was given to the mechanical shark in the first Jaws movie. Stephen Spielberg named him after his lawyer, Bruce Ramer. Actually, there were three animatronic sharks created for the film, and all of them were named Bruce. Sadly, all three of the original Bruces were destroyed after the movie was made.
