The flag for Libya is unlike any other being a solid green color

libya flag

The flag of the Gaddafi-led Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya was adopted on 11 November 1977 and consists of a green field. It was the only national flag in the world with just one color and no design, insignia, or other details. It was chosen by Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi to symbolize his political philosophy (after his Green Book). The green color traditionally symbolizes Islam, reflecting the historical green banners of the Fatimid Caliphate. In Libya, green was also a color traditionally used to represent the Tripolitania region.
