The Magic Circle is a British organisation, founded in London in 1905, dedicated to promoting and advancing the art of stage magic. Anybody over 18 can apply to join but you have to be proposed and seconded by existing members and will face an interview to determine your skills.
Charles, Prince of Wales enjoys comedy, and is interested in illusionism, becoming a member of The Magic Circle after passing his audition in 1975 by performing the “cups and balls” effect.
