Sharks in Bermuda tend to stay far offshore and do not usually venture close to any beach of Bermuda. Even if you can manage to go close to a shark, they are generally harmless and avoid human beings if left to themselves.

There are two popular types of sharks that visit the Bermuda waters – Galapagos and Dusky sharks. Both these species are very calm and harmless in nature.
